Admission Requirements

The program is open to RNs who are graduates of NLN-accredited diploma associate degree programs. Admission to the program requires: 

  1. A completed application
  2. Official transcripts from all regionally accredited academic institutions attended and, if applicable, an official copy of standardized test scores and/or military credit (DD-214). (American Council on Education approved materials will be reviewed.) Emmanuel College will only accept official transcripts. Official transcripts will be required for all academic regionally accredited institutions listed. Note: Generally a GPA of 2.0 (cumulative) from previous college level coursework is expected. »PDF request form
  3. Two letters of recommendation (Recommendations should be requested from professional colleagues, supervisors and/or individuals with whom you have worked closely and who can provide specific information about your abilities and your potential to succeed in an academic program. One letter of recommendation should be from a current supervisor.) »PDF

Educational mobility with 13 associate degree and diploma programs facilitates RN access into our program.
