New Students - Orientation

Meet your Orientation Leaders

Orientation Leaders (OLs) are a select group of current students dedicated to welcoming you, answering questions and introducing you to everything Emmanuel. These students will serve as a resource to you throughout Orientation and be familiar faces around campus when you return for the fall semester.

Meet your Academic Advisors

Our academic advising staff works hard to get you registered for classes in the fall. They provide the support you need to attain your academic goals as well as help you transition into life as a college student.

Meet the Dean of Students

Before the conclusion of Orientation, you'll have the opportunity to meet Emmanuel's Dean of Students, Dr. Joe Onofrietti-a great resource for all our students. Thorough this interactive workshop, "Dr. Joe" will address Emmanuel's academic policies and procedures with the help of the OLs.

Succeeding in the Classroom

The sense of community at Emmanuel is as much academic as it is social. Our goal as a liberal arts and sciences college is to develop your intellectual potential and to position you for success at the college level and beyond. You will be introduced to members of our faculty who will inform you about the academic support that is available to you as an Emmanuel student.

Student Resource + Involvement Fair

What interests you? Is it athletics? Studying abroad? Internships? Alternative Spring Break? It will all be on display at the Student Resource + Employment Fair. Staff members will be on hand to inform you about the opportunities available to you as an Emmanuel student. Offices include: Athletics, Bon Appétit, Campus Ministry, Counseling Office, First-Year Experience, Campus Safety, Information Technology, Residence Life + Housing, Student Activities + Multicultural Programs and the Career Center.
