    Blue Man Group will rock your world. Blow your mind. And unleash your spirit. It won’t call your mom on her birthday. Or will it? (Do you want it to?) Leave your expectations at the door and let three bald and blue men take you on a spectacular journey bursting with music, laughter and surprises.
    The Charles Street Playhouse, located in the heart of the theater District, is the longtime Boston home of Blue Man Group. 35 million people of all ages, languages and cultures know what Blue Man Group is really about. Now it’s your turn. Please note that the tickets are in the “poncho section” where audience members may get wet from water used in the show but are given rain ponchos.
    Transportation will not be provided as there is parking available close by and the venue is accessible by MBTA. We urge you to consult the Charles Street Playhouse website in advance for directions and transportation options. Tickets will be picked up on campus on the day of the show.

    The kiddiECorner will offer families who wish to attend one of the many programs or traditions that are being offered an alternative for their younger children. Younger children and adolescents who participate in the kiddiECorner will be able to partake in several different October-themed activities including: Pumpkin Painting, Trick or Treat Bag Creating and photos with Halo the College mascot!

    Visit historic Fenway Park, where the Babe pitched, The Kid hit, Yaz dazzled and today’s stars still thrill Red Sox fans. Participants will meet in the Jean Yawkey Center Atrium and walk to the park for the 10:30 a.m. tour. Tours last approximately one hour.

    Cradles to Crayons Community Service Project
    Join Emmanuel College students in volunteering at Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory warehouse where you will “roll up your sleeves” to assist in the mission of the organization, which is to help provide children living in poverty with the basic essentials they need to thrive at home, at school and at play. Bus transportation will be provided from the front of Yawkey Center at 1:00 p.m. If you cannot volunteer in person, think about donating:
    Family Weekend Donation Drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons
    Cradles to Crayons creates Kid Packs that are hand-selected with care to meet a boy or girl’s specific needs and wants. Donations of a wide range of goods that are used by children of all ages, from infants to age 12, are accepted.
    Please donate new and gently used children’s items such as clothes, shoes, books, school supplies, baby gear and toys as well as new children’s hygiene products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, hair brushes, etc. For additional details please visit Cradles to Crayons donation guidelines page.
    Donations will be accepted at the check-in table in Jean Yawkey Center Atrium.

    Dating back to the first graduating class, the Class of 1923, the Cap and Gown Ceremony has historically marked the beginning of senior year. The ceremony provides an opportunity for seniors to don their caps and gowns and recognizes their status as seniors at Emmanuel.

    Central Wharf, Boston. New England Aquarium Dock
    Cruise to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary at the mouth of Massachusetts Bay. Stellwagen Bank is designated as one of the top 10 whale watch sites in the world. Three to four hours of Listening, Looking and Learning about whales and other marine life. Transportation and parking will not be provided as the location is accessible by MBTA Subway. For directions, go to www.bostonharborcruises.com Please note that if you take part in the Whale Watch you will not be back to campus in time for Liturgy or Brunch.
