Political + Religious Groups

Below you'll find a list of our political and religious groups and their mission statements. If you're interested in joining a group and can't find the contact, please e-mail osamp@emmanuel.edu (unless otherwise noted) and we can connect you with the group of your choice!

Emmanuel College Political Forum
The Political Forum of Emmanuel College is dedicated to providing a space in which students can communicate and debate political issues in a thoughtful and organized setting. The club is dedicated to educating and providing opportunities to students regardless of major. Political Forum shall strive to remain nonpartisan and emphasize civil discourse.

Model United Nations
The mission of the Model United Nations club is to strengthen public speaking and debate skills in relation to political discussion.

1804 Society
The 1804 Society is a leadership organization named in honor of the founding year of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Center for Mission Engagement oversees this organization. For more information, please contact harringtonm@emmanuel.edu.
