Emmanuel College Research Administration master's and certificate programs are provided in an accelerated seven week face to face and online format.
Research administrators play a key role in enabling the performance of research initiatives that improve the health and welfare of society. Those working in the rapidly changing industry of research administration recognize that their contributions to facilitating and supporting research have the potential to impact health and social welfare on both a global and domestic scale. Through a rigorous curriculum developed by sponsored research experts from our neighboring Longwood Medical and Academic Area institutions and beyond, Emmanuel College responds to the specialized needs of these dedicated professionals by providing a program thoughtfully formulated to build the skills needed for effective leadership in the field.
This is an intensive, integrated learning experience designed to prepare our students to become effective leaders in a variety of sponsored research environments. The program provides participants with a specialized curriculum focused on an overview of research administration, sponsored programs, finance and accounting, regulatory and compliance issues, legal issues, and organizational behavior. Coupled with general management courses that place an emphasis on leadership, ethics and strategic planning, our program is poised to build the next generation of leaders in research administration.
