Former Boston University hockey player Travis Roy, whose life was forever altered back in 1995 when an injury during his first collegiate hockey game left him paralyzed from the neck down, was welcomed to the College on March 14th. Addressing an audience of students, faculty and staff members in the Janet M. Daley Library Lecture Hall, Roy retold his inspirational story of overcoming inconceivable challenges and struggles and his ultimate triumph in reclaiming an independent and productive life.
