Dr. M. Shawn Copeland, professor at Boston College and Xavier University, was the special guest speaker at the College's "Revisiting New Orleans" event, which looked at the presentday situation in Louisiana. Dr. Copeland's speech, "C'est Levee: Katrina and the Politics of Locations and Dislocation" analyzed the social ramifications of hurricane Katrina.
