Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Training
Emmanuel College is required by law to have a written policy on sexual harassment and discrimination and to make employees aware of that policy. To ensure that employees fully understand these policies and discrimination in all its forms, we mandate require all new faculty and staff to complete an online, web-based training program every 3 years. Safe Space Training
The OUTSpoken SafeSpace Committee worked throughout the Fall 2013 semester to create a training manual for SafeSpace training. The Committee continued working on the development of the training events for the roll-out of SafeSpace at the end of the Spring 2014 semester. At this time, SafeSpace trainings are held annually in the Spring (in concordance with OUTspoken's OUT and PROUD Week). More trainings may be added dependent on interest from the community.
