Events and Conferences

Emmanuel College provides a great location for summer programs and events. Our beautiful 17-acre campus lies in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic area, just steps from historic Fenway Park and the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, home to many of the nation's leading hospitals and research institutes, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and Merck Research Laboratories-Boston. Emmanuel is an easy walk to cultural institutions like the Museum of Fine Arts and a short subway ride away from the bustle of downtown.

Between the months of June and August, the campus offers a variety of conference and meeting space options for large and small groups, as well a new athletic facility, a restaurant-quality dining hall and on-campus housing. Whether you are looking for summer housing or hosting a summer program, Emmanuel can provide the facilities, dining services and support to meet your needs.

Event Meeting Space

Emmanuel College has a variety of meeting, classroom and conference spaces available during the summer to accommodate both large and small groups. From lecture halls and auditoriums to smaller conference rooms and classroom space, we can meet requests for both small groups of 25 to large groups up to 400 people. Our gymnasium also serves as the largest meeting space on campus, with bleacher seating for 1200-1400 and capacity seating totaling 2500.

Dining + Catering

The College is proud to offer outstanding dining service by Bon Appétit, an on-site custom restaurant company. Our main dining facility, located in the Jean Yawkey Center, is open daily and offers all-you-can-eat buffet dining with a rotating menu. Featured foods include: stir fry, deli, grill, pasta, pizza, salad, soup, fruit and cereal as well as a variety of treats from the dessert station.

Bon Appétit can also cater to special dining requests for any occasion. Learn more

Sports, Recreation + Fitness

The Jean Yawkey Center at Emmanuel College offers state-of-the-art athletic and recreational facilities. The gymnasium includes one NCAA regulation court or two full-size practice courts. Additionally, the Yawkey Center features a fitness center, equipped with cardiovascular machines (including treadmills, elliptical machines and stair climbers), as well as circuit training machines and free weights.

Roberto Clemente Field offers additional recreation space. During the summer of 2009, Emmanuel College and the city of Boston partnered on a comprehensive restoration of Roberto Clemente Field, a city-owned field located in the Back Bay Fens just across the street from campus. This space includes 120,000 sq. ft., NCAA-regulation synthetic turf field and three-lane rubberized all-weather track.
