The Jean Yawkey Center for Community Leadership (JYCCL) is dedicated to developing service opportunities and leadership skills for Emmanuel College students and providing programs for young people in Boston area schools and community organizations.
Kids to College
The program allows middle school and high school students to participate in programming designed to help prepare them for their pursuit of higher education. Youth are invited to college events, such as lectures, theatre performances, cultural activities and sporting events.
Mission Grammar to Emmanuel College – MgtoEC
MGtoEC is a monthly dinner /discussion group hosted by the JYCCL and the Office of Multicultural Programs at Emmanuel College for 8th grade scholars of OLPH Mission Grammar School. The program focuses on culture, history, literacy and college readiness.
Fenway High School Dual Enrollment Program
The program builds confidence and contributes to the academic success of urban high school students by providing the opportunity to enroll in undergraduate courses at the College for high school and college credit at no cost.
