Keri Godin was accustomed to juggling the busy aspects of her life when she enrolled at Emmanuel College in the Master of Science in Management (MSM) with Research Administration Specialization program. Working full time at the Harvard Medical School as a Project Manager in mental health research, she was already juggling her other full-time job as the mother of an 8-month-old. And then, after completing her first year and earning her Graduate Certificate in Research Administration, she learned that she and her husband were expecting their second child. "I took time off from Emmanuel to juggle having two children under two plus a full-time job," she recalls. "I finished up my Master's in December 2012. What I loved about Emmanuel is that they understood how important it was for me to have that work-life balance and they were very flexible and accommodating." Currently the Assistant Director of Research Integrity at the world-renowned medical school, the 34-year-old mother of two says that while her path wasn't always direct, it has been rewarding. "It was nothing short of exhausting, but I'm glad that I did it," she says.
