Students, Faculty and Staff Kick Off 100th Anniversary with Centennial Fest

More than 400 members of the community helped Emmanuel usher in its Centennial year at Centennial Fest, an evening of music, dancing and entertainment featuring a concert headlined by Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy Kaplan Hasanoglu and The Eli Cash Band, on February 1st in the Jean Yawkey Center gymnasium.

The preshow to The Eli Cash band featured student performers Kate Parisi '19 and Ben Craig '20 in the Jean Yawkey Center Atrium. Joining Hasanoglu during the main show were guest performances by faculty and staff across various offices and academic departments, namely Associate Professor of Mathematics Benjamin Allen on keyboards, Associate Professor of Chemistry Aren Gerdon on saxophone, Campus Minister and Liturgical Music Director Greg Pare on drums, Ellen Still of Development & Alumni Relations on vocals and Assistant Professor of Political Science Adam Silver and Assistant Professor of Philosophy Ryan Mott on guitar.
