The city of Boston is unlike any place else you’ll find in the world. At Emmanuel, Boston is truly our extended classroom.
Boston is a city of opposites: It's a city fused with old and new, a mix of tradition and innovation. The chance to see history intertwined with the contemporary lies around every corner. And the opportunity to invoke change is ever-present.
At Emmanuel, we seize every opportunity to take advantage of the opportunities this great city offers, and to give something back to the community we are proud to be a part of. Emmanuel history students don't just study the Revolutionary War, they walk the same streets strode by patriots. The concepts of pH levels and run off take on new meaning for Chemistry of Boston Waterways students when they're helping to clean up the Muddy River, just steps from Emmanuel's front door. And student leaders become mentors to the youth of Boston through a variety of community partnerships.
Throughout ones connection at Emmanuel-whether as a student, alumni, faculty, staff or community member-you'll find that Boston will become part of who you are. And that's something we count on.
