“Upon graduation from Emmanuel, I am continuing my education at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. My experiences at Emmanuel have prepared me 100 % for the path that I have chosen. I’ve learned critical thinking skills, how to work with others, time management and so much more that will surely benefit me as I move ahead.”
—Lindsay Cathcart '17
To say Lindsay went “all in” at Emmanuel would be an understatement. The biology major was class president for four years, a research assistant in the Physics department, a peer tutor and a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Beta Beta Beta societies. Off-campus, Lindsay served as a unit coordinator at Tufts Medical Center and volunteered at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She also was a research intern at Editas Medicine, working with Chris Borges, a member of Emmanuel’s Board of Trustees. Upon graduation, she’s headed to dental school. Her time at Emmanuel convinced her that taking advantage of every opportunity – on-campus and off – is a great way to prepare for life after college.
