What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
The mix of a liberal arts education and a strong focus on internships. Students embrace the well-rounded curriculum at Emmanuel to make them better citizens of the world and prepare them for a career after college.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
Growing up as a diehard Boston sports fan, I love going to Fenway in the summer to see the Sox and visiting the Garden in the winter to watch the Bruins and Celtics.
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
If you find a college you’re very interested in attending, work hard to show them. Sign up for their information session when they visit your high school, take a campus tour and do an interview if they are offered. By showing your interest and building a personal relationship with the admissions counselor responsible for your area, your application could stand out in a larger pool.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
I think the best part of working in admissions is knowing that I am helping students make the first major choice in their life. It is rewarding being able to open prospective students’ eyes to the possibilities that the future can hold, and it all starts by choosing which college you want to attend. More than anything, I love being a resource for students throughout their process.
