What is your favorite thing about Emmanuel College?
My favorite thing is the sheer enthusiasm our students have for the College! My first visit to campus happened to fall on an orientation day, and I remember driving through Emmanuel's entrance and seeing the smiling faces of our student orientation leaders. I love how warm and welcoming everyone is and how excited they all are to show their school spirit!
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?
I enjoy visiting the different museums in Boston. My all-time favorite is the Museum of Science.
What is the one piece of advice you would give prospective students about the college process?
Visit prospective schools: as a student, you want to make sure you feel comfortable in your surroundings. Along with taking a tour, I would also advise students to try to sit in on a class and/or complete an overnight visit. In order to be successful in your studies, you have to choose the college that is the best fit for you academically as well as personally.
What is the most exciting aspect of working in Admissions?
I love hearing the unique stories that students share with me during their interviews. It is wonderful to learn about a student's major of interest and career goals as well as a special talent or favorite pastime.
