Meet Pat V., one of your 2014-15 Admissions Ambassadors!
Class Year: 2016
Hometown: Wethersfield, Connecticut
High School: Wethersfield High School
Major: Psychology with a concentration in Counseling & Health
Activities: Varsity Lacrosse, Psychology Club, 1804 Society
- Location in Boston: Fenway Park.
- EC Tradition: Midnight Madness.
- Professor: Dr. Melanie Leussis (Psychology) - I had her for Methods and Statistics II. She took a very difficult course and made it a lot easier for students to excel with the extra help and assigments outside of class.
- Class: U.S History to 1877 - I really enjoy history and learning about the past. After finishing this course, I decided to major in history! Clearly, it had an impact on me.
Why you came to EC: I came to Emmanuel College mainly because it is a small school located in a big city. This allows me to have a closer relationship with my professors while also having all the benefits of living in a big city. I grew up as a Boston sports fan, and I love how the school is just a five minute walk from Fenway Park. I also came here to have the oppertunity to play on the Men's Lacrosse team.
What three things would you want if you were stranded on a desert island: unlimited supply of food and water, my lacrosse stick and a husky.
What do you want to be when you grow up: A counseling psychologist.
