Meet Arianna P., one of your 2014-15 Admissions Ambassadors!
Class Year: 2015
Hometown: Holden, Massachusetts
High School: St. Peter Marian Central Catholic
Major: Psychology with a concentration in Counseling and Health
Activities: Student Research Volunteer at Commonwealth Research Center, injury prevention intern at Boston Children's Hospital, Liturgical Coordinator, student leader for Alternative Spring Break, member of EC Acapocalypse (a cappella group)
- Place on Campus: The study rooms in the Wilkens Science Center.
- EC Tradition: Spring Day of Service.
- Thing about Emmanuel: The community - from school spirit to academics, it's really a place where I feel supported and appreciated.
- Class: Counseling Theories. The class really helped me focus on what I want to do, career-wise, once I graduate.
Why you came to EC: I came from a small Catholic high school and I wanted a small Catholic college, because it was the type of environment I thrived in. Furthermore, Emmanuel's location offers a lot of opportunities both on and off campus.
What three things would you want if you were stranded on a desert island: Hair conditioner, the Harry Potter series, and sunglasses.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Post-graduation, I would like to work in a hospital doing inpatient counseling before pursuing my doctoral degree in psychology (if that doesn't work out, then I'd like to be Beyoncé!)
