Conceptual. Analytical. Practical. Ethical. Today’s multidisciplinary study of management or accounting prepares the leaders of tomorrow.

The Department of Business + Economics translates Emmanuel’s commitment to ethics and social justice into its curriculum, sharing values around rigor, relevance, collaboration and integrity. Our students know that organizations—whether for-profit or not-for-profit—can do well and do good. Our students graduate confident in the theories and the skills necessary to manage responsibly in a complex society. Our liberal arts foundation teaches students to think critically, be problem solvers and communicate well. In their management courses, students develop further competencies in quantitative analysis, ethics and responsibility, leadership and teamwork, international issues and technology.
