Rocky Stroud II G'17, a graduate of Emmanuel's MSM program with a specialization in research administration, is overseeing field operations in Africa for the Broad Institute's NeuroGAP-P initiative.
Emmanuel is host to many events, symposia and activities during the academic year, but none bring the entire College community together like our prominent academic events. These events at once honor the academic accomplishments of our students and faculty, celebrate Emmanuel's Catholic identity and mission of social justice and service and allow the College community to engage with esteemed speakers on diverse topics in a variety of fields.
Emmanuel's academic year officially kicks off with Academic Convocation in the fall and closes with the Baccalaureate Liturgy and Commencement in the spring. Throughout the year, the College hosts a variety of lectures, including the Wyant Lecture Series and the Catherine McLaughlin Hakim Lecture.
