Transportation in Boston
Boston is known as a walking city, and deservedly so. Many popular attractions are within walking distance of each other. During your time at Emmanuel College, you can plan on visiting numerous shops, attractions and restaurants on foot.
MBTA: Public Transportation
The MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority) oversees Boston's well-run public transportation system. The large network of buses and subways (commonly referred to as the "T") means you can leave your car at home.

Logan International Airport
Boston is serviced by New England's busiest airport, Logan International (BOS). If you don't feel like driving, the subway's blue line has an airport stop with shuttle service from the subway to the terminal.
