2011 Move-In Information

As you plan your arrival for the Fall semester, please be aware that Move-In for new students takes place Sunday, September 4, 2011. All students are assigned a Move-In time and we ask that you please plan your trip accordingly. If you need to request an alternate time for your arrival, please contact Denise Rugman at rugmade@emmanuel.edu no later than Thursday, August 25, 2011.
Please note: To decrease the amount of time you need to wait to move into your residence hall, each family will be permitted only one car/truck/van (no trailers or moving trucks permitted).
Move-In Schedule for New Students:
Move-In for new students is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011. All students must have settled their account with Student Financial Services in order to move into their on-campus assignment. All students check in at their residence hall.

Move-In Schedule for Returning Students:
Move-In for Returning students is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2011, according to the schedule below. All students must have settled their account with Student Financial Services in order to move into their on-campus assignment. All students check in at their residence hall.
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Last names beginning with A - C
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Last names beginning with D - J
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Last names beginning with K - O
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Last names beginning with P - Z
Please note: If you are moving into Rogers and Edwards on Monday, September 5th, check in will be at the West Lot at Wentworth. Your check in time will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. You will be contacted through your Emmanuel email by Residence Life and Housing for further directions.
Fall 2011 Break Periods:
Below is the schedule of break periods and information regarding Move-In and Move-Out for the semester. Please be sure to share this information with those who assist you in your travel plans:
Sunday, September 4 - Move-In
Tuesday, November 22 - Dorms close for Thanksgiving Break at 9 p.m.
Sunday, November 27 - Dorms re-open from Thanksgiving break at 12p.m
Wednesday, December 21 - Dorms close for Winter break at 10:00 a.m.
(students must leave within 24 hours of their last final)
