I knew right away that Emmanuel was the right college for me. I was looking for a place that would allow me to take full advantage of all it had to offer. Emmanuel does just that.
During spring break this year, I took part in the Alternative Spring Break trip to New Orleans. It was a life-changing experience that altered my outlook on what I'm capable of as a college student. It always amazes me how many opportunities Emmanuel provides us as students to give back to the community.
As the oldest of six children, my parents instilled in me the importance of setting a good example. That's why being the first person in my immediate family to get a college education has always been at the forefront of my goals. I want to set the bar for the rest of my siblings. I know Emmanuel will help me do that.
