There is something about teaching in Emmanuel College's Advancement Program (ECAP) that just agrees with me. You can't approach it the same way as other programs because it requires you as a facilitator to take a much more hands-on, interactive approach to education. Doing anything I can to help my students: That's always been my style. It's great teaching at a place like Emmanuel that allows me to do just that.
As one of the program's original adjunct professors, I've had the privilege of witnessing ECAP grow from the ground up, and I truly believe that Emmanuel does a tremendous service for its students. With traditional programs, it could take a student five years to complete a degree. To think of investing that sort of time can be overwhelming. Emmanuel allows its students to get something they really deserve in a more reasonable amount of time.
