As a student within the Graduate and Professional Programs, I enjoy learning more about management in terms of leading others. Management is not just about numbers; it is about trusting and empowering the people around you and striving to create an atmosphere that promotes productivity. As an Operations Manager with Verizon Partner Solutions, I find the information I learn in class to be practical and useful in my everyday life. It is great that my job allows me to bring my work-related experience to class and that I, in turn, can quickly relate what I learn to my job.
With a young daughter at home, I appreciate how Emmanuel College allows me to accomplish my goal of earning a degree in such a timely manner. Being a father, my time is limited. But to be able to get a master's degree in as little as two years: That is a great opportunity.
