New Student Day of Service, a program for all new Emmanuel Students to learn about service opportunities in Boston was held on September 2, 2008.

Each year, upper class students lead new students to their service site, serve with them and lead them back to campus.

This year students served at Cradles to Crayons, Boston Rescue Mission, Mission Grammar School, Greater Boston Food Bank, Zoo New England: Franklin Park Zoo, Muddy River and Saint Mary of the Angels Parish.
