An Innovative New Program for Sponsored Research Professionals
Emmanuel College's Graduate Certificate in Research Administration provides flexible and innovative educational opportunities for Boston-area professionals who administer sponsored research programs at colleges, universities and hospitals.
Those working in the dynamic world of research administration impact some of the largest global health and social initiatives in the country. Through a rigorous curriculum created by sponsored research experts from our neighboring Longwood Medical Area institutions and beyond, Emmanuel College responds to the specialized needs of these administrators by providing opportunities to earn an academic credential and expand professional networks.
- Classes meet one night per week at Emmanuel College, in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical Area. A fully online format is also offered for professionals working outside of the Boston area.
- Accelerated 7-week sessions for each 3-credit graduate course.
- Cohort model with 6 courses taken in a sequence with the same group of professionals.
- Fall 2008 cohort meets each Wednesday night, 6-10 p.m., from September 2008-August 2009.
- Spring 2009 meets each Tuesday night, 6-10 p.m., from January 2009-December 2009.
- Fall 2009 cohort meets each Wednesday night, 6-10 p.m., from September 2009-August 2010.
- Earn 18 graduate credits, which also fulfills one-half of the credit requirements of a Master of Science in Management (MSM) with a specialization in Research Administration at Emmanuel College.
