Refund Process
Students who have a credit balance on their account with the College (e.g. due to excess financial aid, private loans, tuition remission, overpayment, etc.) may request this refund by completing the Refund Request Form.

Credit Authorization
Please note that a credit balance resulting from financial aid will not occur until all sources of assistance have been disbursed to the student account. For semester based courses, financial aid is disbursed after the add/drop period. (However, in some situations, a credit balance may not occur until the end of the semester, particularly if the credit is due in part to state aid). For accelerated courses, financial aid is disbursed after the add/drop period for the last session of each semester.
If you would like Emmanuel College to retain any excess financial aid to cover future expenses, you must complete the Credit Authorization Form. By completing this form you are authorizing Emmanuel College to retain all excess financial aid within one academic year. (An academic year begins with the summer semester and concludes with the following spring semester). A credit balance reflected on your student account at the end of the spring semester will be automatically refunded.
