Emmanuel College Holds 86th Commencement Ceremony

Emmanuel College conferred nearly 600 degrees during its 86th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 10th.
Associate Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center and 1967 graduate Elizabeth Hayes Patterson delivered the keynote address during the exercises. Patterson received an Honorary Doctor of Laws, as did past Chair of Emmanuel's Board of Trustees C. Michael Daley. Rev. David Gill, S.J., a scholar, teacher and committed advocate for social justice in the city of Boston was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
Undergraduate student Anna Karoleen Lam '08 and Graduate and Professional Program student Clara Musto '08 were selected to speak on behalf of the graduating class. Graduates received the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts in the traditional Arts and Sciences; and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Master of Art in Teaching, Master of Education in School Administration, Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Master of Science in Management through the Graduate and Professional Programs.
