Emmanuel College's Graduate Programs in Biopharmaceutical Leadership provide flexible and innovative educational opportunities for Merck scientists who excel in the lab and lead matrix teams.
Those working in the dynamic world of biopharmaceuticals impact some of the largest global health initiatives in the world. Through a rigorous curriculum created by leading science experts from top biopharmaceutical industry sites, and by providing opportunities to gain critical leadership skills and expand professional networks, Emmanuel College responds to the specialized needs of scientists with management responsibilities.
Merck Polytechnic Institute (MPI) supports Emmanuel's Graduate Programs in Biopharmaceutical Leadership as an opportunity for its science employees to develop management knowledge and skills. John Constantine, MPI Executive Director and Dean, speaks to the necessity of this academic experience in a recorded webinar session. The program has also been featured in articles in the Boston Business Journal and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
Merck Scholars Program
Twice each year, employees of Merck are nominated by manager and MPI for sponsorship in the Merck Scholars Program to enroll in the Graduate Certificate in Biopharmaceutical Leadership. Upon nomination, selected employees in Boston enroll at the neighboring Emmanuel campus. Selected employees at other sites enroll in the fully online asynchronous course option.
Merck employees may also use company sponsored tuition reimbursement to enroll in the program on an individual basis. For more information, please email email@example.com.
