B.A. in Sociology with a Concentration in Human Services
Students who concentrate in Human Services will be prepared to seek jobs in the local, state and federal government human and social service agencies. They can also pursue opportunities with non-profit organizations ranging from neighborhood development agencies to child and elder services to health care institutions to immigrant support systems. Some typical job titles would include case manager, youth development worker, and patient advocate.
Degree and practical experience prepares students for a license in social work, pursuit of a master's in social work, non-profit management or public administration and doctoral studies
