Professional Highlights
He is a certified public accountant who worked with one of the Big 5 international accounting firms. His industry expertise include: regulated utilities, mutual funds, high technology manufacturing, and faith-based institutions.
Professor Phillip has taught at the community college, four-year college, and graduate school levels. Some of the courses he has taught include entrepreneurship, a professional management seminar and income taxes, and he has guided students through their Master's thesis. For five years he graded the national CPA examinations in New York. In addition, he taught a finance seminar in the National Association of Bank Women program in Boston.
He is an active member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a former member of the Minority Recruitment and equal Opportunity Committee of the AICPA.
