Women's Studies

Courses in women’s studies provide a focused opportunity to explore, in historical and contemporary perspective, the ways in which gender affects human identities and relationships. It is a dynamic multidisciplinary approach to the study and analysis of women's experiences, contributions, voices, and lives and the effects that culturally based gender roles has on men and women's lives. Over 30 years of scholarship have produced a wide range of theories and research that challenge and invigorate every area of academic investigation.
