Teacher Licensure in Chemistry

Modifications in state licensure for teachers has resulted in significant changes in the course requirements for teacher candidates, including changes in requirements for liberal arts and science courses, as well as education courses. Students seeking teacher licensure in chemistry must complete a major in chemistry; required education courses; and student teaching. Education requirements are available through the education department.
