Studio Art

Studying studio art transforms students from being "students" to "artists"—artists who are able to produce work independently and exhibit their work professionally.

Your Department.

Our faculty are working artists, designers and art historians, exhibiting, publishing, and designing locally, nationally and internationally. And with the renovation of the Art Department's facilities in the Fall of 2009, students have an unprecedented opportunity to study and create in state-of-the-art studios, including printmaking and ceramics facilities and Mac computer labs.

Your City.

In Boston, inspiration waits around every corner. Studying in the heart of Boston's Fenway neighborhood gives students immediate access to world-class museums like the Museum of Fine Art and the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, professional artist communities, open studio events and gallery exhibits. Emmanuel's participation in the Colleges of the Fenway consortium enables students to expand their course offerings by taking classes such as glass blowing and bronze casting at the Massachusetts College of Art.

Your Future.

Your degree opens up career possibilities in almost every facet of America's economy where creative thinkers are always in demand.
