Get Involved
There are many opportunities to be active with alumni initiatives, whether you are a recent graduate or a graduate of many years.
Career Advisory Network (CAN)
The Career Advisory Network (CAN) is a joint program between the Office of Alumni Relations and the Internship and Career Development Office. The program offers alumni the opportunity to assist current students and alumni with internships, career exploration, mentoring and advice.
Career advisors serve as a vital link between the classroom and the workplace by providing first-hand career information and opportunities to Emmanuel students. CAN members not only support the College but help to shape future generations of Emmanuel graduates as they look to achieve personal and professional goals.
Alumni Association
The Emmanuel College Alumni Association consists of alumni leaders who hold positions on the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee. These graduates are elected annually by the alumni constituency and welcome your ideas and suggestions.
Classnotes Correspondent
Volunteer graduates from each class serve as ambassadors between the Office of Alumni Relations and their classmates by collecting classnotes (personal updates about individuals) and communicating information regarding alumni events and College happenings. This information exchange helps to keep the link between all graduates and the College.
Graduate and Professional Programs (GPP) Ambassadors
The GPP Ambassador Program is a partnership between the Office of Alumni Relations and the Graduate and Professional Programs Office. GPP alumni share their stories about their Emmanuel educational experiences with prospective students and area employers. GPP ambassadors can act as liaisons between the College and companies, and spread the word about the benefits of the Emmanuel undergraduate and graduate GPP programs.

Memorial Masses
Memorial Masses are held monthly. The liturgies to remember deceased graduates and friends of the College begin at 12:00 noon in the Emmanuel College Chapel. For dates, please visit Campus Mininstry.
Monthly Volunteers
The Emmanuel College Alumni Volunteers are a wonderful group of hardworking and loyal graduates who selflessly give their time and energy each month to assist the Office of Development & Alumni Relations with various projects-from helping with mailings and organizing reunion information to calling alumni for participation in events.
If you would like to join our volunteers, or would like information about meeting dates and times, please call Betty O'Hearn at 617-735-9775.
Young Alumni Club
The Young Alumni Club meets every two months to plan social and educational activities and events of interest to younger graduates. A volunteer-based committee, this group works to help young alumni maintain a connection to the College.
