Thing about EC: The people. They are all very friendly, kind and welcoming to everyone and there are so many different activities to do in which you meet all kinds of people on campus. They help make the Emmanuel community a family, which is nice when you're away from home.
EC Tradition: Midnight Madness
Professor: Mark Baard, who teaches Journalism, Feature Writing and Writing for Electronic Media. From his personal experience as a freelance writer for the Boston Globe and other publications, it is evident in the classroom that he knows a lot about journalism.
Class: Modern Art. I am not an art major nor do I know much about art but this class really helped broaden my knowledge and challenged me as a student.
Why Emmanuel? It was the best of both words for me. I really wanted to be in Boston and I wanted a small school, small campus community. Emmanuel filled both those requirements for me when other schools didn't. I really love how Emmanuel has the small, gated camous and it doesn't take long to get anywhere. Then, if you want to go out into the city, all I have to do it step outside the gates.
What is playing on your iPod right now? A mix of Taylor Swift, Adele, Karmin, Carrie Underwood and Maroon 5
