Emmanuel Scholarships and Awards

Students who earn Emmanuel College merit scholarships and non-need-based awards are notified by the Office of Admissions in their acceptance packets. These awards include the Presidential Scholarship, Deans Scholarship, Academic Achievement Scholarship, City of Boston Scholarship and Trustee Award. The scholarship letter included with the acceptance packet provides scholarship details including amounts and renewal requirements. All students who complete the admission application before the published application deadline are considered for merit-based scholarships. No separate application is required.

Emmanuel offers two additional scholarships that require a separate application. The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Scholarship- a $2,500 award- is given to students who are recommended by the founding order of Emmanuel College. The Friends of Emmanuel College Scholarship-also a $2,500 award- is given to students who are recommended by the Emmanuel family of dedicated alums, current faculty or staff. Recommendation forms for both of these scholarships are available through the Office of Admissions and are due by February 15th

Scholarships are mutually exclusive, however, students receiving scholarships or awards may also be considered for need-based financial aid, including federal, state and Emmanuel College grants and loans.
