Life on campus is a unique experience at Emmanuel. Here you will find a 17-acre campus, lush with trees and brick buildings, and the vibrant city of Boston, with its 250,000 other college students, right outside your front door. Fenway Park and the Museum of Fine Arts are just down the street.
So what do our students like best about living on campus? The opportunity to meet new people, and the convenience of being so close to class with no commute time. Another plus? Living on campus is truly the most affordable way to live while attending college in the city of Boston.
Our residence halls accommodate both first-year students and returning students. Some are coed throughout the building and others are coed by floor. All bathrooms are single-sex bathrooms. Each residence hall has an Assistant Director/Residence Director—a professional staff member—living in the hall. This person is responsible for the day-to-day management of the building and for creating an environment that will support an individual's growth and development. In addition, each hall has Resident Assistants, student leaders who live on the floors and are dedicated to supporting residents with their personal and academic concerns. All of the Residence Life and Housing staff are available as resources for students.
