The Colleges of the Fenway is a collaborative effort of six neighboring Boston colleges in the Fenway area. Joining Emmanuel in the consortium are the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Simmons College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Wheelock College. Collectively, these colleges represent more than 12,000 undergraduate students, comprising 16.2% of the total Boston population of undergraduates attending four-year colleges, more than 700 full-time faculty and 2,300 course offerings.
OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE COLLEGES OF THE FENWAY
Cross Course Registration
Emmanuel students can cross-register at any of the COF institutions at no additional tuition charge. On average, 300 students have cross-registered each semester since the consortium's inception.
Special Library Privileges
With access to each school's library as well as three library consortia in Boston (including 15 libraries in total), the opportunities for outstanding research are endless.
Additional Study Abroad Options
Through the COF Global Education Opportunities (GEO) Center, a shared resources for preparing students for awareness of, support for, access to and participation in education abroad programs.
Fenway Card Access
COF students have the ability to use an exclusive Fenway Card for payment at the six colleges and at over 75 popular local businesses around the Fenway, Back Bay, Cambridge and Newton neighborhoods.
Through collaborative student groups, COF students are able to participate in specialized performing arts activities including:
