How? Ask the Registrar's Office at your college or university to send Emmanuel an official transcript after the grades for your last semester have been posted. Failure to submit final grades will delay your ability to obtain transfer credit and register for appropriate classes at Emmanuel.

When? Once your 2011 tax returns have been completed, please log back into your FAFSA and update your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval tool provided on the FAFSA. If not, you may need to request 2011 tax transcripts from the IRS.

How? Submit your Orientation Registration using our online form. You will be asked to indicate your order of preference for the available overnight programs, and The Office of First-Year Experience will confirm via email which session you have been placed in. Please note that you may only register for Orientation online, and sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Office of First-Year Experience cannot accept early requests by phone or e-mail. Once your date has been assigned, please be sure to clear your work and personal schedules for this mandatory program.

Who? All enrolled students finishing high school in the spring of 2012
How? Before your school year ends, let your Guidance Counselor or College Counselor know that you plan to attend Emmanuel. Request that they send an official copy of your final high school transcript after your graduation. Students will not be permitted to attend Emmanuel without this evidence of their successful high school graduation.

Who? Enrolled students who have health insurance coverage and do not wish to purchase health insurance coverage must complete the health insurance waiver by August 8th to waive the premium. Students who do not have coverage and require the College's health insurance plan must complete an enrollment form.

What? All students are required to take placement testing in 3 areas: Mathematics, Language and Computer Literacy. We will determine if you are exempt from the Language Requirement. You can either take the placement testing at Orientation or online from abroad.

Who? All enrolled students living abroad.
How? E-mail Stephanie Sweeney with the following information:
• The name of a proctor (such as your school counselor or a teacher - cannot be a relative) who has computer skills and internet access;
• Confirmation of your ability to access a Windows-based computer and identify a neutral, quiet space (such as a library - you cannot be at home) to take the tests. Stephanie will help you to decide if you meet the criteria, give you further instructions, and arrange for your results to be sent accordingly.

How? The program start date on the I-20 is September 5, 2012. You may enter the United States up to 30 days BEFORE BUT NO LATER THAN September 5, 2012. If there is any reason you cannot arrive by this date you MUST contact Stephanie Sweeney immediately. Permission to arrive late is difficult and depends on your situation.
