It begins with our belief and commitment to the value of a strong liberal arts and sciences education. We offer opportunities for learning, teaching, exploring and research in more than 40 majors, minors and concentrations. We take these studies to new levels from Art, Education, English and History to Biology, Psychology, Global Studies and Chemistry. We encourage the pursuit of an Individualized Major by tailoring a course of study from our offerings. Every class is taught by a professor, not a teaching assistant, creating a deep, personal student/faculty relationship that begins day one.

We also benefit from sitting on a 17-acre campus in the heart of Boston's medical, academic, scientific and cultural communities. As a student here, you have access to the ultimate extended classroom that includes many opportunities to become active members of the community and find internships at leading-edge companies, some-like Merck Research Laboratories-Boston-are right next door.
