What to Expect

During your first two years at Emmanuel, you will meet regularly with your general academic advisor so that you may:

• Become knowledgeable about academic policies and procedures
• Develop short and long-term academic plans
• Discuss academic progress
• Select and schedule courses
• Acquire referrals to additional resources on campus

Generally, you will be expected to select your major by March 1st of your sophomore year, after which you will continue your academic advising with a  departmental academic advisor.
