Student Evaluation

The site supervisor's final evaluation is a significant portion of the student's grade. This is an academic internship program, so the student will be receiving a grade which becomes part of the graduation grade point average. The grade is determined by the faculty sponsor with input from the site supervisor.

In general, a student is assessed on his/her professionalism, work habits, knowledge, ability to learn, and meeting the agreed upon goals and objectives. Specific points to keep in mind when evaluating the student include:

  • Any previous related work experience Improvement in performance
  • Ability to meet specified duties
  • Professional behavior Punctuality and attendance
  • Contribution to the workplace
