Discover the World Beyond

Study abroad expands the mind, invigorates the spirit and offers a global context and perspective that will stay with you for life. Spend a year, semester, summer or school break in over 70 countries, choosing from more than 550 suggested programs.

Emmanuel students have studied everywhere from Italy and Uganda to China and Argentina. All students should start a year or more before departure, especially regarding academic planning. Students in highly-sequenced majors, double majors and year-abroad students should start planning as early as freshman year.

Don’t have a semester to spare? Want to “get your feet wet”? Join the Emmanuel students who have traveled to Belize, Egypt, India, Italy, Vietnam and elsewhere on Colleges of the Fenway (COF) faculty-led travel courses during winter, spring and early summer breaks!

Emmanuel partners with the Colleges of the Fenway GEO Center to provide our students with opportunities to study and travel abroad. The Center's office is on the mezzanine level of the Cardinal Cushing Library and is a shared Colleges of the Fenway resource for preparing students to experience the global environment. The Emmanuel contact for the GEO Center is Diane Bissaro.
