ARC0101 - Strategies for Academic Success
This course provides a structure for students to develop learning strategies that they can adapt to course requirements. Topics covered include note taking, goal setting, time management, textbook comprehension and exam preparation. Students may be exempt from this seminar on the basis of scores on placement tests.

- ARC0101 Packet, available at the Emmanuel College Bookstore.
Required materials:
- three-ring loose leaf binder for Packet, handouts and class notes
- three hole paper
- two notebook dividers
- index cards, 5x8, lined
- highlighters
Evaluation
The final grade for this course is Pass/Fail. Since much of the seminar happens in class, a passing grade will be based on required attendance, on completion of assignments and on participation in class.
