Mission Statement

The Mission of the Academic Resource Center Is:

• to support students in their quest for academic excellence by providing comprehensive resources and individual support, including peer tutoring, study groups, professional specialists, and disability support services;
• to support student success by helping students develop independent learning skills based on learning strengths, knowledge of the learning process, and effective study strategies;
• to support the mission of the college in enhancing students' roles as "critical thinkers, ethical decision makers, and contributing members of society."
