Students Present Work at Annual ASA Conference

In August, four Emmanuel students participated in the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association. The students, Lauren Dupuis '10, Lauren Harris '10, Susanna Derby '10 and Megan Tessitore '08, submitted research they had carried out in a class in the fall of 2007 and their studies were accepted at a poster presentation at the conference.
More than 5,000 people attended the national conference and the Emmanuel students were among the only undergraduate students presenting their research at the poster presentation.
