Student’s Work Featured in AIGA Boston Exhibit
March 22, 2011

Kyle Potter '12 is one of 42 undergraduate and graduate students from around New England represented in the exhibit "New Voices, Unique Visions: AIGA Boston Presents the Best of the Student Design Community." The exhibit runs through April 12th at the Center for the Arts at Endicott College.
Potter's piece was an event poster for the boxing match between Manny Pacquiano and Antonio Margarito, initially designed for a graphic design class with Assistant Professor of Art Erich Doubek.
"I have always liked the old-school boxing posters," said Potter. "I wanted to emulate it, but give it a new edge with a more modern feel."
A communications major with a minor in graphic design, Potter is looking to pursue a career in brand development. He was selected among a talented group of design students from schools such as Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston University and Montserrat College of Art.
"It's pretty cool, a lot of winners were from art schools so it was great to be recognized," he said.
