Management Class Presents Ideas for New Businesses
December 07, 2010
Special Instructor of Management Regina Rutter's "Foundations of Management" class presented business plans for start-up companies as part of the "Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur?" event held on December 7th in the Modular Meeting Space.
Each group presented their idea for a business with the aid of posters. Each group also built its own business website using www.wordpress.com. Many of the business plans were dedicated to better helping the environment or geared toward the college-age crowd.
Throughout the presentation, each person had to vote on his or her favorite business idea. Those in attendance were also asked to vote on the categories for: best idea for demonstrating social responsibility, most creatively designed tri-fold poster, most innovative ideal for a new product or service for a new business, most innovative idea for a new product or service for an existing organization, and best website on www.wordpress.com.
